2013-02-10_15-51-47_755 The doubles team of Becca Iversen & Hannah Ploof won the 2013 Eisenhower Doubles Tournament on Sunday, February 10th at Imperial lanes in Clinton Township. The two bowlers ended up qualifying 17th out of 60 doubles teams from around the state as the tournament took the top 24 teams and moved into match play which consisted of the best 2 out of 3 Baker games with the winners moving on until a final doubles team was left. The 2 bowlers did not tear it up in qualifying but when they started the Baker games they found their groove. The 2 Baker games of qualifying were 182 and 258 which helped them make the cut. After making the cut, the 2 bowlers combined to bowl Baker games of 278, 245, 203, 224, 205, 226 and then they were down to the final 3 teams. Becca & Hannah teamed up to defeat a doubles team from Macomb Dakota 218 to 202 to move into the finals. In the finals Becca & Hannah defeated the doubles team of Kenzey Lord and Quinisha Burnett from Carman Ainsworth by a final score of 237 to 169.
