2013_ChampsThe Flint Metro Conference Middle School Singles Championship was held on Saturday, May 18th at Colonial Lanes. The tournament had several highlights and after the dust settled a Kearsley boy won and a Davison girl won. On the boys side Damien Thompson from Kearsley defeated Austin Daniel from Oxford with a final score of 239 to 185 to win the singles championship. On the girls side Kalee Johnson from Davison defeated Barbara Hawes from Kearsley with a final score of 213 to 187 to win the singles championship. The high qualifiers were Magan Willingham from Kearsley with a 3 game total of 663 and Robb Wheeler from Carman Ainsworth with a 3 game total of 724. High games of the tournament were Magan Willingham with a 254 game and Austin Daniel with a 273 game. Final 4 finishers on the girls side were Emma Boychuck from Kearsley and Alayna Adamson from Holy Rosary and on the boys side the final 4 finishers were Alec Amundsen from Flushing and Cole Kaufman from Swartz Creek.
